The document was written on December 12th by committee-man John Cutter. It is a notice requiring the constable of the northwest precinct of Cambridge, James Perry, to notify freeholders and inhabitants of the area as well as those of Charlestown, who are qualified to vote, to attend a town meeting. The meeting would take place at the meetinghouse on December 21st at 1pm. The tasks required for the meeting were to have a conversation with the inhabitants about what should be the privileges for the ministry in the town and to vote (on something related to) the support of the ministry. A response was required on or before the date for the meeting. The reverse contains a short response from James Perry that he has notified the proper parties. Dated December 21st.
