The document was written on May 30th by committee-man John Cutter. It is a notice requiring the constable of the northwest precinct of Cambridge, Thomas Hall, to notify freeholders and inhabitants of the area, who are qualified to vote, to attend a town meeting. The meeting would take place at the meetinghouse on April 23rd at 1pm. The tasks required for the meeting were to elect an orthodox minister to settle in the precinct to work with ministry there; and to vote for a salary and settlement for this minister. A response was required on or before the date for the meeting. The reverse contains a short response from Thomas Hall that he has notified the proper parties. Dated April 5th.
