The Lower Falls of the Yellowstone, 397 feet in height; width of river at the brink, 100 feet. Photographed from a point one-fourth of a mile below the falls, and 300 feet above the bottom of the cañon. The perpendicular walls about the falls form the upper end of the Grand Cañon.
