Letter from Isaac Clark, Northampton, to Amos Augustus Phelps, March 24th 1836
Description:
Isaac Clark writes to Amos A. Phelps to thank him for his offer to give antislavery lectures in Clark's area. Samuel Wane, the president of the region's anti-slavery society would like Phelps to speak in Amherst after the May vacation. Clark and people in Northampton are anxious to receive a visit from Phelps, and hope he would speak in Northampton in April in case he cannot make a visit to Amherst after May vacation.
