Letter from Charlotte M. Lincoln, Warren, [Massachusetts], to Maria Weston Chapman, 1840 [October] 12
Description:
Charlotte M. Lincoln writes to Maria Weston Chapman in regards to there being no anti-slavery society in Warren. She writes, "the cause has warm friends, but not as many as we would wish." Contributions have been made to the anti-slavery fair in Worcester. She unfortunately won't be able to attend the fair, but will dispose of a few copies of the "Liberty Bell" if it will aid her.
