COPY NOTE: Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) copy Q.403.52 FOLIO imperfect: [1]₁ and [30]₁₀ (both blank?) wanting. Blind impressions from bearer types on [14]₇ verso. Modern pencil foliation (incorrect) in upper right margin of most rectos. First leaf of each gathering numbered in modern pencil in lower right margin. Woodcuts and woodcut initials hand-colored. Leaf dimensions: 280 x 202 mm.
BINDING: Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) copy Q.403.52 FOLIO bound in early/contemporary blind tooled pigskin over wooden boards. Two of four brass bosses remaining on upper cover, all four missing on lower cover; brass centerpieces on both covers. One of two clasp anchors and one of two catch plates remain. Early manuscript label at head of spine, with "408" in black paint in central compartment. Ca. 18th-/19th-century pastedowns and free endpapers.
