Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) copy Q.400.15 pf bound in calfskin paneled and tooled in blind over beveled wooden boards, rebacked in modern calfskin. Much leather on the covers replaced, with early central panels left intact. Early brass clasps and catches. Leather thumb index tabs. Extra half sheet, described in British Museum XVth cent. as bound-in after leaf 187 here bound between 185 and 186. Leaf 39 appears twice. Large woodcut initials hand-colored. Half-page inscription on leaf [ii] recto, with index on verso annotated. Condition of binding precludes full inspection of sewing structure. Leaf dimensions: 470 x 320 mm. Purchased in 1944 from Walter Schatzki.
