'As a result of a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) course I was taking at Framingham State University in Instructional Technology, I had to develop a final report and project that had to do with technology infrastructure. I asked the senior library staff if I could propose the creation of a hypothetical new Makerspace for the library as my project. I was shocked when a few months after I gave them a copy of my report, they asked me to actually create the Makerspace with money from a grant they had been awarded to increase teen involvement at the library. This was the grand opening of the Makerspace.
