Handwritten letter from Harriet Hill of 388 Pleasant Street in Belmont to "My dear Mr. Hardy." Letter asks Mr. Hardy to please see that the enclosed communication in regard to the old chest Harriet spoke to Mr. Hardy about the previous summer reaches those who might be interested in the matter. Harriet says she doesn't know the name of the President of the Historical Society and thus, is sending the information to Mr. Hardy. The letter also references a photo of the chest that was "taken a short time ago." Also includes photograph of "the Continental chest that belonged to Deacon Joseph Adams," with a note about the chest and its story on the back.
