An account of expenses by Edward Hitchcock incurred during a portion of his geological survey of Massachusetts July to December of 1830. Expenses listed include supplies, boat rentals, horse and carriage rentals, and personal expenses. Expenses incurred by his assistant are listed as well. One payment made to him by the state is also included.
