Description:
Newly graduated members of the Class of 1947 pose outside. Yoshiro Befu (Class of 1946, middle) was there to receive his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture. To his left are Irene M. Kavanaugh and Taylor A. Steeves. Ms. Kavanaugh joined the University's campus library in 1957 and went on to become Head of Cataloging, while Mr. Steeves became a well-known author of several publications on plant development.
