The archives of UMass Amherst contain tens of thousands of photographs and other works of art documenting the history of the University of Massachussets Amherst community from its founding in the 1860s to the present. The photographs in this collection come from a myriad of different sources, including alumni and faculty as well as from official university chorniclers and publications.
