Description:
Gilbert H. Durfee writes to Amos A. Phelps that he cannot leave home until December to engage in the work Phelps proposed. He then expresses his disapproval of Garrison, saying that he (Garrison) manages the Liberator badly and “is doing but little good in the cause of abolition.”
