Nichols writes William Lloyd Garrison extending his invitation to visit Bradford and address the Temperance Society and Alliance at one of their meetings, and promises that the occasion would give the "friends of Temperance & the working classes" the chance to give to Garrison a "hearty Yorkshire welcome".
