This item includes two documents addressed to H. G. Chapman, Treasurer of Massachusetts Anti-Slavery Society, and signed by Isaac Knapp. One of them requests to pay to Francis Jackson $84.43 when in funds, the other to pay to Ellis Gray Loring $50 from the first funds of the Society which the addressee may receive. Chapman signed on both under the text, "Accepted." Jackson and Loring each signed a receipt on the verso of the appropriate document.
