Description:
Miss Wigham describes the tactics of Julia Griffiths. She reports that a Christian anti-slavery society is being formed in Edinburgh to oppose the American Anti-Slavery Society. It is composed of United Presbyterians whose mission church at Calabar admitted slaveholders. Miss Wigham speaks further of Miss Griffiths in a note on the inner flap of the envelope.
