Additional information accompanying item: UMass... Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) sit-in... April 23, 1969. Black students took over a room in the administration building at Boston State College. They had a list of 8 demands that included a call for more black instructors and students, a black dean, and black recruiting. Room 105 is possibly the room where parties met to negotiate an agreement.
