James Miller M'Kim forwards to William Lloyd Garrison a copy of a report concerning the English-established "normal schools", as well as four letters from teachers "illustrating the operation and results" of their particular schools. M'Kim requests that Garrison write him with his thoughts concerning the report and the accompanying letters, promising to use any suitable material in the forthcoming edition of the American Freedman.
