Description:
Wendell Phillips informs William Lloyd Garrison that he assisted the "colored man" who delivered Garrison's note. Phillips encloses a check for the sum of $100, drawn from the Blydenburgh fund, to be used at Garrison's discretion to assist persons "deserving of help". Phillips informs Garrison that he is putting his response to Theodore Lyman in "pamphlet shape". Phillips states that he will consult Garrison prior to printing the pamphlet.
