The picture referred to was Page's oil portrait of W.L.G. which Father borrowed for a time. F.J.G." [Francis Jackson Garrison, William Lloyd Garrison's son]. Additionally, along the edge of the adjacent page, the phrase, "Francis Geo. Shaw, N.Y., May 16, 1864," is written in pencil.
