A view down a canal, crowded with traffic, crossed by a bridge. The name GUISTI is conspicuous over the door of a house on the left. The windows, shutters and foliage have been replaced by a balcony with iron rails, resting on three supports. The word GUISTI has been added on a board over the door of the same house; the door itself has been completely darkened. Reduced but still strong, the shadow on the upper part of the house to the right has advanced towards the windows.
