'First communion at Our Lady of Ostrobrama in Brockton. This Catholic church was a core part of the Polish community of Brockton. Mass was in Polish and some of our customs and traditions were different from other Catholic churches in Brockton. We blessed Easter eggs and food at Easter time, for example. The church was founded in 1914 and was closed in 2001. Father Misa was the priest during my life, from 1984.
