Letter from J. Peter Lesley to Benjamin Smith Lyman
Description:
Lesley offers his help if Lyman can show a way of getting out of the difficulty with profit and notes that any profit will go to Lyman. The leeway is the important matter and Lesley will travel to Pottsville to stay with Lyman there as long as necessary. He will try to determine the limit of error on the depth of the veins and hurry up a map of the property. Lesley includes sketches of his preference to run two telescopes close together with prism magnifiers to read themselves.
