Description:
Includes reports of the chairman, president, guidance program, teacher education department, research department, and treasurer. Project One-Ten started with the establishment of the center for the preschool diagnosis and education of young deaf children including victims of the recent rubella epidemic. It continues with a new dormitory, additional classroom, and research space. Dr. Philip A. Bellefleur worked with the Bell Telephone Laboratories to test a devise which shifts sounds to low frequencies. In the past year 1,200 alumni, parents, friends, foundations, and corporations donated over 500,000 dollars to the Clarke School. Due to the Clarke School's centennial observance and the launching of the Second Century Fund, the school has added a public relations office.
