Lockwood was born December 2, 1875 at Millvillage, Penn. B.Sc. Penn. State College 1899. For two years he was with Walker, Gordon Lily Co. of Boston and Philadelphia; three years with Hires Condensed Milk Co., Malvern, Penn. He spent two short terms at Penn. State College as Instructor and was the P.E. Sharpless Co. for two years as builder and manger of their condensing plant at Rising Sun, Maryland. In 1908 he became Assistant Professor of Dairying at the Massachusetts Agricultural College, Associate Professor in 1910 and Professor 1913-18. Photograph made by F. A. Waugh May 1921.
