. Leading the offensive attack during the regular season was senior wing Caryl Copland, who scored ten goals. Other leading scorers included: Laurie Smith, Cheryl Murtagh, and Nita Lamborghini. The key to the team’s success rested in the hands of the strong defensive unit, led by U.S. squad player Wendy Anderson and halfback Pat Chiudoni. Goalie Sharon Schmickley recorded six shutouts.
