Springfield College
Coach Diane Potter formed the Springfield College Softball program during the 1963-1964 academic year. She coached the women's softball team for an amazing 21 years. The Softball field at Springfield College was recognized and dedicated to Coach Diane Potter and was named Potter Field. In 1989, she became the second woman inducted into the Springfield College Athletics Hall of Fame, and during that academic year, she served as the Springfield Distinguished Professor of Humanics.
