This plaque celebrates twenty-five years of women’s athletics at Springfield College. The top reads, “25th Reunion,” and beneath is an illustration of sports equipment (representing basketball, softball, tennis, and field hockey) circling the words, “How Time Flies...” Flying around these words are two birds with clocks for chests. In the lower left corner is a cartoon of a woman smiling. The plaque was presented on November 5, 1988 at the Alumnae Athletic Brunch. The women’s athletic program at Springfield College began around 1964, although intramurals have existed since the mid-1950s.
