- Notes:
-
According to a December 1921 issue of “Rural Manhood,” a publication produced by the Country Work Department, Springfield College’s County Work Religious Deputation Teams were “available for week-end programs in outlying counties.” The objective of the college’s County Work Course was to prepare students for leadership in religious, social, and physical work among boys and young men in the country as county work secretaries. This course took four years to complete: three years at Springfield College and one year at the Massachusetts Agricultural College (Amherst, MA).
Text on border reads, "Country Work Deputation Group 1916."
