Ice cutter, hand pushed, 6 inch model - includes blade cover with manufacturing information - William T. Wood & Co. 7 notched teeth, each bolted to a piece of metal with 2 square bolts. Handle is attached by a pivoting joint. The bottom part of the handle is made of a metal rod, with a visible seam, and the top is made of wood. The wooden part has a handhold, and appears to have been painted red. Cover (2020.13.2B) is made of a light brown wood, with black lettering and markings. The cover is made of two large pieces of wood, seperated by three thinner pieces around the sides. The wood is nailed together in multiple places. Both sides of the cover have almost the same markings. There is a black box, with "Wm. T. Wood & Co. --- Ice Tool Manufacturers --- Arlington, Mass." and "6 in" painted on in black. One side has "6 in" to the left of the other writing, while the other has it on the right side. There is a small piece of leather attached to two nails on the side with "6 in" on the right.
