Letter from Raymond Kaighn to Jennie Cournoyer (October 9, 1958)
Description:
This is a letter from Raymond P. Kaighn, Springfield College class of 1893 and one of the first men to play the game of basketball, to Jeannie Cournoyer, secretary in the Alumni Office at Springfield College for over 40 years. The letter is dated October 9, 1958 in the bottom left. In the letter he is responding to a letter about the passing of a mutual friend. The writing is hard to read, but we think the first name is "Sam". Amos Alonzo Stagg is also mentioned.
