Black and white photographs of the 1967 Opening Convocation in Johnson Chapel. Photographed are Calvin Hastings Plimpton (President of Amherst College, 1960-1971) and other faculty in academic regalia. These photographs were taken by the College Photographer for the Office of Public Affairs (now the Office of Communications). Jim Gerhard was the College Photographer from the mid-1960s to 1971.
