Sidney Morse letter to Edward Hitchcock, 1851 January 18
Description:
A letter from editor Sidney Morse in which he outlines the amount owed to Hitchcock for published pieces. Morse also expresses his desire that Hitchcock continue to contribute his writing and asks for Hitchcock's opinion on topics he might like to write about that could be included in a "retrospect of the last half century." It appears that the letter was written by Morse's brother Richard; both names appear in the signature.
