Description:
Graduating seniors and spectators, as well as members of the faculty, listen to a speaker at the podium during commencement exercises being held in the Physical Education building, perhaps in 1938. A man in an academic robe stands to the speaker's right while another man, also in academic garb, stands nearby while holding a doctoral degree hood. President Hugh Potter Baker watches from beside a table at the far end of the platform.
