Built in 1917, this was the Mobile Carriage Shop, known as Building 32. Road sign commemorating former Commander Theodore Thaddeus Sobieski Laidley. In 1871, he assumed his final command, the Watertown Arsenal in Massachusetts where he was responsible for the production of carriages, shot, and accessories for field, siege, and seacoast artillery.
