<mods:abstract>Image of Civil war veteran and Hopkinton Grand Army of the Republic member Thomas N. Drawbridge. The group was named C.C. Phillips Post 14 and met regularly on Church Street. A type written label indicates that he served in Co. H. in 1st Massachusetts Infantry. He wears dress coat and G.A.R. medals and has moustache and long side burns. His photograph was one of 35 framed together and displayed for many years in The Hopkinton Public Library. The Post formed in 1882, they met regularly on Church Street before disbanding around 1929. G.A.R. medallion with 2 stars on top hanger indicates he was a Massachusetts officer in the G.A.R. The white rectangular shape on the top section denotes 1st Brigade, 2nd Division within the 3rd Army Corps.</mods:abstract>
