Item Information
Title:
Land of Robert Jenison, to be set off from Natick to East Sudbury, 1792
Description:
Photocopy of a map of Robert Jennison's farm. The name is spelled Jenison on the map. It was originally part of a group of farms that were granted by the General Court and called the Natick Farms although they were not part of Natick or Sudbury (now Wayland) but belonged to Nonesuch (Weston). Robert Jennison tried to join Sudbury and later East Sudbury due to family ties and probably attendance to their Meeting House. The General Court did not approve this move. Original plot plan is housed at the Massachusetts State Archives (#2722, House document 3697, 1792)
