Circa 1940. Photograph of Simon Smikes, Jr. He was born in Whately on 15 Sept. 1915 and died of lung cancer at the VA Hospital in White River Junction, Vermont on 3 March 1987. This looks like a wedding picture but no marriage for him was found. The woman is not identified. Donated by Katherine Smikes (Simon Smikes' mother).
