Located on the corner of Main and Central streets, the C. A. Dresser House, 92 Main Street, has a magnificent presence. The brick structure with stone relief is similar to the adjacent Ammidown building except for the ornamental central tower. The C. A. Dresser House was a hotel. An interesting view of the west side of the building and some domestic dwellings, is provided. Awnings cover the first floor windows in the front of the building. On the right side there is a horse drawn carriage. A side view of the Ammidown building is given. A sign on the side of the Ammidown building reads "Cummings & Conant Hardware, Stoves, Agricultural Tools, Paints, Oils & Glass" (Edwin B. Cummings and H. J. Conant.) Trees line this northerly section of Main Street.
