<mods:abstract>... I repeated Mary Queen of Scots prayer in Latin to her which she had never heard before, and she translated it promptly and accurately not hesitating at but one word, "gemendo", and when I spelled to her the second time and omitted a word, she detected it at once. She speaks of you very often, and with my wife and myself, hopes you may be able to make us a visit this coming spring. I think a snowstorm which we are now having will wind up the winter with us, which until the last two or three weeks, has been very mild and pleasant. We think it best to keep Helen and Miss Annie quiet at home until next fall, when I can see my way clear to do so, I hope to send her to some good Institution to commence a regular Collegiate course. The mercury has seldom been above the freezing point since Mrs. Hopkins came and 6 inches of snow today doubtless makes her think she has not yet reached the sunny south. Helen is sitting by me and says "Please give Dear Mr. Anagnos my love" and "tell him we would dearly love to see him". All join me in best wished for your health and happiness and I am very sincerely [truly] Your Friend A H. Keller</mods:abstract>
