<mods:abstract>Aerial view of the Dublin Plant and Nathaniel Plant of J.P. Stevens & Co., Inc. in Dublin, Ga. Gelatin silver print, [ca1960]. Image depicts an aerial view of the Dublin Plant (on the right) and the Nathaniel Plant (on the left) in Dublin, Ga., both part of the Woolen & Worsted Division of J.P. Stevens & Co., Inc. Both are sprawling one-story complexes; the Dublin Plant (note "Dublin Woolen Mills" on the front of the building) has another building behind it with a smoking chimney and a water tower behind the plant. Although unidentified, the Nathaniel Plant is presumed to be the one on the left. Parking lots with cars are to the right of the Dublin Plant and the left of the Nathaniel Plant. Area around the plants is open in the foreground and mostly wooded in the background. The Dublin Plant produced piece dyed woolen flannels, sport coatings, top coatings and dress fabrics. The Nathaniel Plant produced woolen men's wear suitings and women's wear coatings. 60.25 x 33 cm.</mods:abstract>
