Caption: 279686-S U.S. Constabulary in Berlin - The U.S. Army's constabulary forces in Germany are organized to police the American zone of occupation. These forces make frequent raids on "black market" operators, suppress internal disturbances and perform general patrol duty. Organized shortly after the cessation of hostilities, the constabularies have done much to solve the problems of occupation. Members of the 16th Constabulary Squadron, map out the section for Berlin which will make up their tour of duty for the day. 1st Lt. William F.
