Notes:
To the right is the Ice House. In the early 1880s, the school's principal Albert G. Boyden purchased six acres of land adjoining the campus to be converted into a park for the recreational use of the school's students. Boyden laid out the park, excavated a pond, and built the Ice House. The state of Massachusetts purchased the land from Boyden in 1886; the park was named in honor of Boyden in 1887. In the distance (center right) is Groveside, the residence of the Albert G. Boyden.
