The Ponakin Mill
- The Ponakin Mill
Workers from the Ponakin Mill in North Lancaster take time out for an early photograph. The privilege had been used first for sawmills and gristmills and later for ironworks and nail making. After 1861, the site was used for a textile factory and after World War II it became a plastics factory until destroyed by fire in 1963.
