white wooden frame window with 9 glass panes. Set into wood frame/box (light oak frame with gold border). Window from the house built 1740, by Rev. Samuel Cooke, first minister of this town. Most panes have names or other texts etched into glass Including the following incomplete attempt to transcribe On top left pane is etched: top left: Andrew Bordman Mary Bordman Samuel Cooke,1772 Mrs. Todd[?] .. Mr. Todd[?] .. A. C. Bordman R.C. Bradshaw 1819 [a granddaughter of the de Neufvilles] Mrs. A.C. Lanzee [a daughter of the de Neufvilles] In top middle pane is etched: John Dee Mavey Mary Cooke 1811 [daughter of Samuel Cooke] in middle right pain is etched: John de Neufville [Amsterdam-merchant] Nancy de Neufville [his wife] in middle middle pane are etched various Wellingtons These were for a time part of Miss Cooke's family. They are all buried in the old cemetery near the church. The other names are of people who found a temporary home in the pleasant old parsonage.
