See the person not the colour : European-Wide Actionweek Against Racism, 18 - 26 March 2000
Description:
Poster produced by UNITED for Intercultural Action, a European network of organizations against nationalism, racism, fascism and in support of migrants, refugees and minorities. The poster features the colors red, black, yellow, and white most prominently. At the center of the poster is a red box surrounding black text that reads "SEE THE PERSON NOT THE COLOUR." The date information and the name of the event (European-wide Actionweek Against Racism) appear as yellow text inside a red border around the edges of the poster. Most of the poster includes rows of simple line drawings of the same black and white human figures embracing, and with arms raised. In diagonal strips across the center of the poster, those figures are displayed as different colors of the rainbow, first green, then yellow, orange, red, purple, and blue.
