'In 2019 the Friends of the Bellingham Library received a $15,000 grant from the Middlesex Savings Bank Charitable Foundation. As the library was preparing for a major carpeting and flooring project that year, this donation enabled us to also renovate the History Room and to create a more modern Conference Room. During Bellingham's 300th Anniversary in 2019, I became much more involved and interested in preserving Bellingham history. This project not only gave the library's history collection a more modern, secure and safe home, I co-authored a book on Bellingham history and was appointed to the town's historical commission.
