McCormack thanks Charles R. Schwab for his recent note and comments about the Chrysler Cup Senior Golf Tour Event. He hopes everything goes well with Schwab's involvement at TransAmerica and looks forward to getting together with him on one of his future trips to San Francisco. Attached is a letter from Schwab to McCormack expressing their appreciation for McCormack's proposal regarding potential Schwab participation in the Chrysler Cup Senior Golf Tour Event. He indicates that the timing would not allow them to properly merchandise the event in their normal manner and explains that they will have to pass on this opportunity but that they will consider testing Schwab involvement in the TransAmerica Seniors Golf Classic. They will let McCormack know through Eric Van Dillen of any interest they might have in this event by the second week in January.
