This image, “Football Game,” shows a group of football players huddled together on the field. Three men are standing in the foreground with their backs to the camera and wearing bowler hats. The stadium is full of people, and a few have even climbed trees behind the seating for a better vantage point. Along the top of the stadium are signs advertising The Boston Herald, The Boston Globe, and the Western Union Bulletin Service. The teams, location, and date are all unknown. It is not known whether this is Springfield College or not.
