Gives an update on the family, the children are attending meetings. Dr. Smith has been looking at Fowler's leg and says that it has healed well. There was an article in a medical journal about a man in New York City and his patent cork leg. It explained the operation and the type of amputations it can be use done. The article talked about a man who was fitted with an artificial leg and was able to work on a farm. Dr. Smith said Fowler can have a cork leg.
